Locums – Berkshire County, Massachusetts, Emergency Medicine Job
Clinical Role:

• Full-time coverage June to October 2025
• Looking for a provider that can go between North Adams and Pittsfield
• The biggest needs are weekends, evenings and overnights
• Trauma level: 3
• Total Number of Beds: 32
• Annual ER Volume: 55,000
• EMR: Meditech
• Physicians’ scheduled hours: 8-hour shifts available
• EM is not responsible for codes
• Admissions are performed by the hospitalist or admitting service
• APP coverage
• Percent (%) of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital per Day: 30
• Hospital Bylaws Require a Specific Response Time for On Call Physicians: 30 Min
• Deliveries received in ED are sent directly to Labor & Delivery
• ED is responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radio
• Active MA license - Highly preferred, MA licensed providers will be priority
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS - Required
• ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (Within 5 years of Residency) - Required
