ASAP – Ongoing
Shift Responsibilities: Neo cover the NICU and newborn nursery
24-hour shifts; in-house during the day, plus call at night (8a-8a)
Level III NICU
Sub-Specialty Back Up: Respiratory therapy; lactation consultant, and Neonatal transport team at facility. Eye exams (ophthalmology for ROP); consults (each perform cardio reads and echos). These tests are read the same day
Total Bed Size: 420
NICU and Newborn bed size: 18 NICU; 20 Nursery
Annual Births/Deliveries: 1600
Average Daily Census: 11 NICU; 8 Well-baby
Midlevel Support: Daily NNP coverage
EMR: EPIC and PremiEHR
Average Patient Age: Newborn
Board Certified/Board Eligible – Required
Active AL License – Required  
NRP – Required
