Clinical Role:

  • May 26 (7:30a) – 27 (7:30a)
  • May 27-29 - 7:30a-5p, 5p-7:30a
  • May 30 – 7:30a-5p only
  • Oct 20-27 (7:30a)
  • Oct 27- Nov 3 (7:30a)
  • Nov 3-10 (7:30a)
  • Dec 1-8 (7:30a)
  • Ongoing dates will begin Jan 2026 when schedules are released. 
  • Approximately 14 shifts per month - As the calendar fills with providers this will be limited
  • Mon-Friday - 7:30a-5p - Onsite scoping with Emergency Room coverage - Hourly
  • Mon-Friday - 5p-7:30a - Night call
  • Sat-Sun - 7:30a-7:30a - 24-hour call
  • Setting: Call, Scoping, Emergency Room, Inpatient, Outpatient Trauma Level III
  • FTE: 1.0
  • Patients Per Day: 12-16 when scoping
  • Anesthesiologist on-site
  • Rounding
  • We do scoping and bread and butter GI. ERCP is not performed at the facility
  • Required Procedures: Scoping, EGD, colonoscopy, manometry, flex signs and 24-hour PH probe
  • Required job duties: Providers must sign all orders and notes. Locum is responsible for completing all orders that the physician’s requests, including pathology orders (results may come in while the provider is not on assignment and still must be completed in a timely manner.) 
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Support Staff: MA, NP/PA, RN
  • Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage and a few locums who have found perm placements
  • EMR Required Training:
  • Module (learn lessons) & EUPA test – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
  • EMR onsite training - Only able to attend if Modules and EUPA test are completed before training. The PPL will be conducted onsite on the morning of the candidates’ first day.
  • Board Certified Gastroenterology – Required
  • Active CO license – Highly Preferred, must be willing to apply for the license at acceptance
  • Gastro Fellowship - Required
  • Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
  • Site would prefer if candidate can treat IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) patients. - Highly preferred to note.
  • Clean Background - Required
