Seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician 
Required: NRP and PALS
Required Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation (NRP), should be competent with intubation of newborns, lumbar puncture, umb vein catheterization, pediatric resuscitation (PALS)
No circumcision or vent management
Hospital managed program
Maternity leave coverage 
Coverage needed:
June 1st - August 30th (With possible extensions)
Schedule Options:
3 Shifts Per Week
12 Hour or 24-Hour In-house Shifts (Your option) 
Average Daily Census: 1 (It's rare that it would be more than 3) 
See Pediatric and Newborn patients only (The floor is shared Med/Surg/Peds)
Attend High Risk Deliveries (Total Annual Deliveries is 1,500) 
Level II Nicu (deliveries down to 34 weeks, can use high flow nasal canula). Close partnership with a level III NICU that provides comprehensive offsite back up/consultation 24-7. 
Admission of newborns to Normal Nursery and SCN 
Admissions to inpatient Peds
Rounding on Normal Nursery, SCN and inpatient Peds units
Discharges from NBN, SCN and Inpatient Peds
Consultation to the ED on as needed basis (consult and note, not primary management)
Normal newborn care and sometimes stable SCN babies are also seen by a newborn rounder (NP or MD) to share workload
Average NBN census likely around 12 and varies over the week
SCN with 5 beds and can flex up as needed for babies born in house, average census around 3-4
Additional Support: A second person comes in daily for hours that vary from 5h up to 11h to primarily work on admissions, rounding on, and discharges from Newborn Nursery. This is either an MD or NP.
