Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Anesthesiology – Critical Care physician
Completion or upcoming completion of anesthesiology residency and a critical care fellowship
Required certifications/licensure: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 4 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
No Cardiac (heart) or Neurosurgery (head) cases. Bread and Butter general anesthesia cases performed (nerve blocks, A-lines, epidurals,, etc.)
8-9 cases a day- 700 cases a month (~200 of those are endoscopies)
OB services (750 deliveries a year)
A lot of robotic cases; state-of-the-art medical equipment/technology (4 Da Vinci Robots, the mako robot, etc)
Established Medical Center with over 80 Physicians and 20 specialties
New Grads welcome!
Schedule- 26 weeks on/26 weeks off (typically 7 on/off unless mutually agreed upon by anesthesiologist team)
2 anesthesiologists scheduled per shift; supervise CRNA'S and AA's
Call required during week on; critical care call and back up for anesthesiologists on
Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
