24 Hour Shifts
Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes
Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No
Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes, provider by General or ER surgeons
Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No but will be overseeing 2 NPs in the clinic
Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
Clinic Details:
Hours: 9am – 5pm
Functions as a typical OB outpatient practice
Overseeing 2 Nurse Practitioners
Seeing 20-25 scheduled patients per day
Has ultrasound technician and RNs in the office and they run their own schedules
NICU Level: Level I Newborn Nursery
Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 500
Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 30-40
MFM onsite: Yes during the day. On-call at night
In-house Anesthesia: Available on-call
EMR: Epic in clinic / Cerner in hospital but will be transitioning to Epic fully within the next 12 months
Transfers sent to another Hospital (in-network and transfer center already in place)
3 pediatricians in the hospital
