Clinical Role:

    • Start: 3/3/25
    • Available Shift Times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a OR 7a-7p, 7p-6a
    • 12 FTE approx. 150 open shifts
    • Willing to license in specific instances
    • Shifts needed per month: 8-12 per provider
    • Minimum Shifts Required: 6 shifts per month 
    • Experience Required: 2 years min. Facility wants to stay away from extensive work experience (several locations) to expedite the credentialing process
    • Support staff: APPs 
    • 24-hour hospitalist coverage for admissions
    • 24-hour real-time Radiology reading of all studies
    • 24-hour in-house X ray and CT with US on call at night
    • Patients per day: 30-50 depending on the location 
    • Annual Volume: Average of 10,000-23,000 annual patient visits per emergency department
    • Trauma Level: All locations are level III
    • Patient population/age: All ages 
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Skills required: Physician will manage multiple patients both with serious and non-serious illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, severe infections, and pneumonia, and perform assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments as needed to resuscitate or stabilize patients and refer them to the appropriate medical departments.  
    • Practice Setting: Hospital (will be credentialed at 6 locations – 1 credentialing process)
    • Requirements: ATLS / ACLS / PALS
    • Board Certification: BC EM and FM, (ABPS EM and FM also accepted) BE is not accepted.
    • IN State license required
    • DEA
    • CSR
    • If EM boarded just need DEA/CSR
    • Minimum experience required: 2 years, will look at new grads for Perm only
