Locums – West Chester, Pennsylvania, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job

    • Coverage Needed starting September 3-6 months
    • Shifts per block needed to be filled by agency: 8
    • Expected timeframe for need: 3 months
    • 12 or 24 Hour Shifts: 24
    • Root cause for opening req: Loss of SMD
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Expected patients per day: 7.5
    • Will accept board eligible providers (assuming they’ve passed first part of exams) or only board-certified providers if they are in the board certification process and have that letter that they have passed the first part, they are eligible to apply
    • COVID vaccine required, site will allow exemption requests
    • NICU Level III
    • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 259
    • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 60
    • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 165
    • No Residency Program
    • Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Er only
    • Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions
    • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
    • Private physicians and surgical PA’s Available to the Hospitalists
    • Private OBs Backup Available to the Hospitalists
