  • Shift Schedule details and duration 24hr shifts

  • Credentialing Time frame – 60-90 days Are temps available: Yes
  • MUST have an Active AL License
  • Reason for coverage: open shifts
  • Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: only for emergent cases
  • Hospitalists not Required to Perform Circumcisions
  • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: No – usually provided by midwives, residents or a group
  • First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (surgical techs)
  • Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: TBD (CNM’s are in local private practice)
  • Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
  • Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)
  • NICU Level: III
