Clinical Role:

  • 12- or 24-Hour Shifts: 24hr
  • Shifts per block needed to be filled by agency: 8
  • Expected timeframe for need: ASAP for 4-5 months
  • EMR used: EPIC
  • Expected patients per day: 5 to 7
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Is COVID vaccine required, or will the site allow exemption requests? Yes and Yes
  • NICU Level: Level II
  • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 180
  • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists(monthly): 38
  • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 125
  • MFM onsite? Available by request
  • Residency Program & Type? None
  • In-house Anesthesia
  • Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage
  • Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions
  • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
  • First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes, private physicians, general surgeons, nocturnalist PA’s, midwives, cert. tech 1st assists
  • Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No
