Clinical Role:

    • Current Needs:
      • 1 FT CV anesthesiologist to start ASAP.  At least 2 years of experience required  **must be TEE certified
      • 1 FT Pediatric Anesthesia MD to start in Q1 2025
    • This position would alternate between Peds, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and General shifts in any given week
    • This position will include peds and general
    • No OB
    • Pediatric specialties include general surgery, ortho, ENT, dental, IR/MRI
    • Duration:  6 months, possibly longer, until able to backfill MD positions with W2 employees
    • Active NC License – Required
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible
    • Average Number of CV cases per day:  10-15
    • Average Number of general cases per month: 3500-4000
    • Case Mix:  Busy OB, trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho
    • CV Shifts:  8-10 hour shifts
    • No call
    • No weekends
    • Pediatric Shifts:  Guaranteed 40 hours per week plus if more hours desired. Option to work nights or weekends if interested. No beeper call, only in-house call. Shift duration is flexible (8s, 10s, or 12s)
    • Range of cases:  Busy OB, occasional trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, bread & butter. 
    • Supervisory or MD only cases as the preference of the provider
    • General Anesthesia Shifts:  8s, 10s, 12s.  Optional in-house call, nights and weekends
    • Describe the make-up of support staff:  1 MD:3 CRNA or 1 MD:4 CRNA
    • Care Team Model:  Yes, mainly supervisory but MDs can work their own cases if preferred
    • Practice EMR:   Cerner, AIMS
    • Will MSO Grant Temps:  Not guaranteed
